Nikkatsu, like many Japanese studios, imported films from other countries to expand their movie offerings. Around the Roman Porno era many exotic European and American hard and softcore movies were shown along with pink films. You can see a small sampling of some of these movies in the page listed in the side bar marked Obihiro Nikkatsu Theater. Theaters ran many of these imports with posters made by the import companies but Nikkatsu would sometimes create their own advertising material for these films. The ones listed here are imports I have found that have Nikkatsu’s logo on their posters and fit into the (s)exploitation genre.
